About me
Hi there, my name is Tore Utheim. After living for years in the province of Naples in Italy, a sheer Mekka for photography, I'm now back in my home country. Mechanical engineer and deck officer in the merchant navy by profession and photographer by passion. However, over the last few years, passion has turned into profession. by doing work for newspapers and magazines. What kind of work? Well, feature stuff, reportage or whatever comes my way.
Any kind of photography is of interest to me. Street, nature, portraiture, animals, you name it. However, I particularly like it on the street. On the street you get across all sorts. Rich and beggars. Beutys and beasts. Young and old. Hellish noise and quietness. And everything in between.
So, nothing really beats taking to the street with a rangefinder camera and a lightning fast 35mm lens. Day or night.
